24 Kingly Street, Soho, London, W1B 5QB

Bond is a new bar/club concept being the most high-tech venue in the whole of London, and the first fully interactive bar in the world.

Bond is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art lighting and bar technology to create a breathtaking backdrop for your night out. Special computer controlled projections will transform the room into a heavenly catwalk show or the fiery pit of hell. All at a flick of a switch.

The projections are also interactive so if you put your hand out to touch them they will react to your movements. Nothing like this has ever been used in a nightclub venue before, and quite simply, you will have to see it to believe it. The interior is a blank canvas, which can be changed to whatever you want it to be. And in addition to the projections there will be hundreds of LED lights installed which will give the venue over 1,000 different colour combinations, running right across the spectrum.

The bar continues the interactive theme and will be touch sensitive. You put a glass down; the bar will react to it and send out light beams across to the base of our drink. If you touch the bar with your hand light will shoot out towards you and alert the barman that you require a drink. This is Star Trek and Star Wars all rolled into one, and with waitress service.

Other interior features, such as furnishing are 1970s inspired but brought right up to date with the state-of-the-art 21st century technology.

The whole ethos of the venue is built around the concept of choice and interactivity, and clients and event organisers will be able to select exactly the feel and mood for their night, even down to the colour scheme for the room. Artwork can be chosen to be projected onto the walls as well. The capacity is 400 with five slightly raised table areas with space to seat 200 comfortably. Table areas will work on a bookings basis on minimum spends will be limited only to weekends.

Founder memberships are being sent out to key people and will never exceed a certain very select number. The membership card itself will be a limited edition and will include the exact number of those printed just like a piece of art.

Maya is all about being ‘Cool, Sleek, and Chic’. They are somewhat uniquely positioned; all about the velvet rope culture and on the forefront of the Electro-Funky house scene.

There is no attitude in this club, so make sure you leave yours at the door. Make the effort and you fly straight in, if not, then it’s the back of the queue for you…

Maya is the home of fashion; where styles are made and trends are set. If you want to strut your stuff then look no further, your new catwalk has arrived. Its haute, with elegance, chilled and divine.

85 Piccadilly, London, W1J 7NB

The launch of Vendome Mayfair in September 2009 saw an end to the minimalist design of the nightclub that has saturated London’s West End over the last decade. In the mid-nineties the launch of venues such as the iconic Atlantic Bar and Grill, Momo’s Kemia bar, the Met bar and Saint, killed the dance floor by encouraging guests to groove around the tables.

Founder Freddie Frampton, embarked on a design mission with the legendary (and truly original) interiors guru, Paul Daly to resurrect the dance floor and Vendome has been created to induce patrons back on to the dance floor and revive the atmosphere of the clubs of old. The look and feel of the space will reflect this carefree attitude – a combination of seventies retro disco – redolent of scenes from the movie ‘Xanadu’ with bespoke design elements which are distinctly futuristic. Daly has employed an array of bold and colourful furnishings to blast the minimalism of the last decade away.

The focal point of Vendome is the raised revolving DJ booth in the centre of the club surrounded by a fully circular dance floor- a feature that will cost over a quarter of a million pounds. This video interactive dance floor will be able to display film footage, graphic effects or logos and will be the first in the UK. The dance floor is surrounded by a variety of sleek bespoke seating areas including a floor to ceiling “cage” – seating 12 people – and three pods. Four “alcove” type booths – seating 12 people each – will be designed by the great and good, including Jade Jagger and the house of Dom Perignon. An impressive 8 metre long main bar will have a solid red corian top.

By sharp contrast to the futuristic/ 70′s look and feel of the main club, the entrance is distinctly “Renaissance” with sepia tinged bevelled mirrored walls and an ornate 16th Century reception desk. The stairs leading to the club are complete with faux snakeskin banisters… decadence at its height.

The drinks list will again reflect the 1970′s retro /futuristic vibe, with some old classic favourites and some molecular mixology.

Freddie Frampton is well placed to create this refreshing and enjoyable atmosphere and has also been heavily involved with the music at Vendome.

As he explains, “If commercial house is to the right, and more underground to the left, then we lean 20 degrees each way. Think a little education with a lot of smile!”

Vendome has been created to entice us all back to the dance floor and ultimately have a wild time.
